BEGINNER TRAINING

So you've just bought your first adventure or dual-purpose motorcycle? Or you've been riding for a while and now you want to learn how to ride properly on some of the amazing gravel roads we have in Southern Africa? You've come to the right place! 

We are passionate about sharing our knowledge and expertise in off-road motorcycle riding and love teaching people how to handle their motorcycles with more confidence and to be able to truly enjoy off-road riding without that angst, nervousness or fear we all know so well. 

Our one-day introduction to off-road riding course will equip you with the basic knowledge to do exactly that! This course has been set out to lay the foundation on which to build in mastering the handling of your motorcycle in off-road conditions.
 

INTERMEDIATE TRAINING

Our Level 2 Weekend Off-Road Course is hosted at the ADA Training & Outdoor Centre just south of Hartbeespoortdam in the Broederstroom area.

 

The level 2 course had been designed to build on what you will have learned in Introductory/ Beginners Course, and will help to further better your riding abilities, no matter your experience level or age.

 

Over the two day period on this course you will learn how to negotiate ruts, uphills recovery and downhill braking, brake slides, power slides and so much more., 

With this course you will have the opportunity to even further refine your skills and become a more confident and safe rider.

What you will learn on this course: 

* Discussion on tyres & tyre pressures

* Theory on standing and riding off-road

* Body positioning on the bike
* Picking up your bike

* Clutch/ throttle control

* Cornering off-road

* Tight turns

* U-turns

* Emergency braking

* and more...

Prerequisites: 

You will need your own motorcycle for the training. If you require a rental  motorcycle, speak to us we have a few options available.


Participants need to be able to handle a motorcycle comfortably on a tar road.


Basic riding gear is required: Helmet, jacket, gloves, riding pants or jeans and boots with good ankle protection.

Duration: 

1 Day : 8 for 8:30 - 14:00

Cost: 

R950 p/p

This includes coffee/tea, refreshments and lunch.

* Body positioning on the bike
* Picking up your bike

* Clutch/ throttle control

* Cornering off-road

* Tight turns

* U-turns

* Negotiating ruts

* Uphill and downhill riding
* Sand riding

* Brake slides/ power slides

* Uphill recovery

* Emergency braking

* and more...

Prerequisites: 

You will need your own motorcycle for the training. If you require a rental  motorcycle, speak to us we have a few options available.

We highly recommend that you have completed the beginner training before registering for the intermediate training.

Duration: 

2 Days over a Saturday and Sunday. We usually finish on Sunday around 14:00.

Cost: 

R1950 p/p

This includes coffee/tea, refreshments and lunch. As well as breakfast on day 2. 

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made within 7 days from training = no refund. Cancellations made before 7 days from training will receive a full refund.
